

Job Description:
The successful candidate will manage geotechnical projects, including meeting and interacting with the client, and managing project budgets. The Project Engineer will also coordinate and participate in field activities, including logging of borings, test pits, trenches and cores; evaluation of geologic and seismic hazards; forensic evaluation of distressed structures and failed slopes; perform liquefaction, slope stability, settlement analyses; and prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and reports. Experience with construction and grading activities is also desired. Duties of the Project Engineer will also include providing technical support to staff-level engineers, geologists and field technicians.
Education:
M.S. in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Construction Engineering
Required Skills:
The desired candidate will have a masters degree and a minimum of two years experience in geotechnical consulting. The ideal candidate will bring experience and familiarity with engineering practice in Southern California. Candidate should be a team player, be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional Engineer registration is required.
