chief Geotechnical Engineer

Job Description:

The successful candidate will coordinate projects and perform engineering analyses; develop field and laboratory programs; keep abreast of engineering advances; mentor junior staff and serve as Chief Geotechnical Engineer; provide superior client relationships; assist the office management with marketing efforts; provide ongoing training to engineering staff; provide direction and review of engineering work products; and review and sign geotechnical reports.

Education:

The ideal candidate will have an MS or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering.

Required Skills:

Twenty years of related experience with a geotechnical consulting firm, a thorough understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering , and have both Civil and Geotechnical Professional Engineering Registrations in the State of California. The successful candidate will have working experience with construction and earthwork activities. Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
