Asbestos, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene Professional

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be a Certified Asbestos Consultant and have demonstrated practical experience providing Industrial Hygiene services. Duties include conducting asbestos, lead based paint, and microbial surveys and assessments, conducting indoor air quality surveys or other industrial hygiene assessments, preparing abatement specifications and operations and maintenance plans, and providing abatement monitoring/oversight/clearance sampling, and participating in business development. This is a full-time position.

Education:

At a minimum, the ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree, or equivalent.

Required Skills:

This is a senior staff level position for an individual with Arizona/Texas certifications and experience performing and overseeing asbestos, lead-based paint, microbiological and hazardous building-material surveys and abatement inspections. A candidate must possess appropriate Arizona and Texas certifications and registrations. Candidates that are Certified Asbestos Consultants or Lead Project Monitors, or equivalent, are encouraged to apply. Individuals with Arizona/Texas asbestos and lead experience/certifications and industrial hygiene experience are preferred. Experience with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments is a plus, but is not required. The candidate should have one to three years experience conducting relevant projects, possess computer skills (e.g., Word & Excel), have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be team oriented, be a self starter and energetic.
