Construction Services Field Supervisor - Construction Materials Testing Department

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be required to be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the duties of a field technician and special inspector. Duties also includes maintaining and reviewing proper and complete field data, maintaining certification requirements and records for field staff, maintain/purchase of field equipment and supplies, and coordinating work flow with the Project Manager and Dispatcher regarding all aspects of the field staffing and operations.

Education:

The ideal candidate will have a background of soils, construction materials testing, and inspection experience.  Supervisory experience, professional registrations or certifications, and a minimum of 5 years experience is preferred.

Required Skills:

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, supervisory skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license and good driving record.
