Staff Level Environmental Professional

Job Description:

Ninyo & Moore has an opening in our Orange County office for a Staff Level Environmental Professional. The successful candidate should have experience in Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, periodic groundwater monitoring and reporting, and field oversight for assessment and remediation projects. 

Education:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field. An advanced degree and/or professional registration is a plus.  Current  OSHA HAZWOPER training also a plus. 

Required Skills:

One or more years experience, preferably with an environmental consulting firm performing duties described above. The successful candidate will have work experience with site assessment and remediation activities including some or all of the following: landfills, mines, UST/petroleum, roadways, chlorinated solvents, metals, and pesticide contaminated sites. Candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Candidate must be able to work both independently and as a team member and must have a current valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
