ASbestos And Lead Professional

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Certified Industrial Hygienist, California Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist. Duties includes conducting asbestos and lead based paint surveys and assessments, preparing abatement specifications and operations and maintenance plans, providing abatement monitoring/oversight/clearance sampling.

 

Education:

The ideal candidate will, at a minimum, have an Associate's degree, or equivalent.

 

Required Skills:

This is a project to project manager position for individuals with California certifications and experience performing and overseeing asbestos, lead-based paint, microbiological and hazardous building-material surveys and abatement inspections. Appropriate certifications include some or all of the following: Certified Asbestos Consultant, Site Surveillance Technician, and Lead Inspector/Assessor/Project Monitor. Individuals with California asbestos and lead experience and certifications are preferred. Experience with Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments is a plus, but is not required.  The candidate should have two to five years experience conducting and/or managing relevant projects, possess computer skills (e.g., Word & Excel), have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be team oriented, be a self starter and energetic.
