Project Geotechnical Engineer, Houston, Texas

Job Description:

Ninyo & Moore has an immediate opening for a Project/Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The successful candidate should be a registered Civil Engineer in Texas with a minimum of seven years of geotechnical engineering consulting experience. A well-rounded experience in geotechnical engineering, strong work ethics, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and a track record of successful client relationship and service are required. The Project/Senior Geotechnical Engineer will direct, review, and oversee small to large private and public projects. The candidate will mentor junior staff; provide leadership in superior client relationships; assist in marketing /business development; provide ongoing training to engineering staff; provide direction and review of engineering work products; and review and sign geotechnical proposals and reports.

Education:

B.S./B.A./M.S. in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Engineering 

Required Skills:

Registered Civil Engineer in Texas with seven years plus experience with a geotechnical consulting firm performing duties described above. Candidate should have a thorough understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering. The successful candidate will have work experience with construction and earthwork activities. Candidate should be a team player and have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and excellent problem solving skills.
