Laboratory Supervisor

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be required to be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standard test methods for tests performed by a soils and materials testing laboratory (ASTM , ACI, AASHTO). Duties include performing laboratory tests and maintaining proper and complete laboratory data, obtaining and maintaining lab certifications, equipment maintenance, and supply procurement. The individual will also be responsible for budget control, effective communication and development of laboratory technician staff, coordination of work flow, and clear communications with the Project Managers regarding the testing schedules.

Required Skills:
The candidate is required to have soil (moisture/density, Atterberg limits, gradation/200 wash, Denver swell/consolidation, proctor density, corrosivity); concrete (concrete/masonry compressive strength) ; and asphalt (extraction, gradation, flow, stability, unit weight) laboratory testing experience. Professional registrations or laboratory certifications and a minimum 5 years experience preferred.

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license.
