Construction Field and Laboratory Technician 

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be required to be thoroughly knowledgeable regarding the standard ASTM test methods for all tests performed by an engineering field and laboratory technician, and perform these tests in the field and laboratory. Duties also includes maintaining of proper and complete files of field and laboratory data, reports, letters, and other pertinent field data, maintain clear communications with the Project Manager regarding all aspects of the field operations including providing of neat and orderly project documentation. The candidate will be required to work directly with the contractor Quality Control personnel.

Education:

The ideal candidate will have soil and concrete testing experience. Required certifications include ACI Field and Laboratory Technician Grade 1 , WAQTC Soils (or equivalent), and nuclear gauge certification.

Required Skills:

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to perform independently, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Previous experience at military installations, especially at Cannon Air Force Base is preferred. Must have a current valid driver’s license.
