administrative manager/marketing coordinator

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be required to support the staff by performing the following activities: performing various mid to high level administrative tasks, assisting in typing technical reports, proposals, letters and other correspondence; compiling data in spreadsheets and databases; and performing special projects as requested. Candidate should be highly detailed-oriented, well organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also be required to assist marketing efforts by possessing, maintaining, and applying the following capabilities: Federal SF330, municipal, and commercial proposal preparation; preparation of call lists for teaming; preparation of office-specific brochures and flyers; preparation and set-up of trade show materials; coordination of all marketing activities for the office; preparation of resumes, press releases, presentations, project write-ups and update of marketing materials; attendance at, and coordination of weekly in-house marketing meetings; and coordination and management of project leads.

Required Skills:
Candidate should be proficient in MS Word and Excel, Visio, proposal graphics applications, and Power Point. The successful candidate should have excellent multi-tasking abilities, people skills, able to work both independently and as a team member and a problem solver. Should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude,be a mature and confident professional, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver’s license.

Desired Skills:
Experience with performing duties similar to those described above. Experience with environmental and/or geotechnical consulting, performing the duties similar to those described above a strong plus. Human resources background and experience a plus.
