El Paso Electric Company and Michigan Public Power Agency Compliance Testing Protocols
Ninyo & Moore prepared Compliance Testing Protocols for El Paso Electric Company and Michigan Public Power Agency to support agency witnessed emission source testing. Such testing is used to verify compliance with federal, state and county air quality regulations. We provided agency liaison during the performance of these protocols. Ninyo & Moore managed the meteorological monitoring network that was established to collect real-time, and ongoing ambient meteorological conditions that are necessary for modeling and transport studies.
As a consultant to El Paso Electric Company and Michigan Public Power Agency, Ninyo & Moore performed technical analyses for revisions to Environmental Management Plans and provided technical and regulatory assistance related to compliance with Acid Rain emission monitoring programs (40 CFR Part 75). Our services included data management, assistance with monitoring system testing and certification, evaluation of new monitor designs/hardware, and liaison with agency staff to support compliance efforts at client facilities.
